My name is Danika...
By day, I am an Executive Assistant and a Social Media enthusiast, Web Designer, Blogger and an all round creative (I am a Pisces after all). This space was created to share my written and image blogs about all things travel, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, living a healthy lifestyle (in moderation) and much more. Putting pen to paper (or finger tips to keyboards) to inspire and empower those who may resonate with similar experiences.

What does she do?
Ex Flight Attendant who wears many hats in the creative sector. I have a background in Social Media Management, Marketing and PR. Having started study in Bachelor of Media and Communications majoring in Public Relations back in 2017, I then deferred while I took some time to better my health and continue to work Freelance with my side hustle in Marketing while mentoring women, predominately young teens in Beauty Pageants and Modelling & Deportment. Who needs a degree majoring in PR anyway... I mean, Roxy Jacenko exhibit A... Look at her Empire built from pure determination and drive!! My idol!
Starting out in my home town, Launceston Tasmania, with Launceston’s most iconic Modelling and Deportment School, after graduating at Sue Ree’s Modelling and Deportment, with over ten years in modelling and promotions industry. In 2017 I was a finalist in Miss World Australia Queensland state finals, raising the most funds for Variety The Children’s Charity of Queensland, which has given me the opportunity to be an Ambassador for Variety the Children's Charity of Queensland, through their Young Variety program.
In 2019 I was the Regional Manager and state mentor of Miss Teen Queensland where I mentored the young ladies. I love to inspire young teens and watch them grow into confident and kind women.

Why does she do it?
“My main aspiration in life is to empower and inspire those around me. My motto (well one of them) is "Be kind, always." Through my blogging, I hope to inspire, encourage and empower other women and younger girls in their day to day life and to maybe help them to pursue something they are afraid of or holding back on”.
