MEET DANIKA
Hello, I’m Danika, former founder of Avere Etiquette and Deportment Academy, a modern personal development and etiquette platform created to help people move through life with confidence, authenticity, and grace. I’m also the author of two ebooks, both were years in the making. One is centred around breaking into your dream career, particularly within the aviation industry, while the other explores modern day etiquette in a way that feels relevant, approachable, and realistic for today’s world.
Over the years, I’ve built a career that’s been anything but conventional. My background spans aviation, media, modelling, mentoring, events, and brand development, experiences that have shaped my understanding of people, presence, communication, and confidence in both personal and professional spaces.
Today, I’m embracing a new season centred around growth, creativity, meaningful work, and building a life that aligns more deeply with who I am and where I’m headed. While I’ve always valued professionalism and presentation, what matters most to me now is creating impact in a way that feels genuine, balanced, and purposeful.
My experience in modelling and pageantry played a significant role in shaping who I am, teaching me the importance of self presentation, resilience, and carrying yourself with confidence under pressure. Those experiences later inspired the creation of Avere Academy and continue to influence the way I connect with and support others today.
Creatively, I’ve worn many hats, from PR and marketing to copywriting, event hosting, and self taught web design. I’m passionate about communication, storytelling, community, and building authentic connections both online and offline. I’ve organically grown a strong social media presence and love sharing pieces of my journey, ideas, and evolving projects along the way.
I’m also an experienced MC and host who genuinely enjoys bringing energy, warmth, and professionalism to events and special occasions. Whether speaking on stage, mentoring one on one, or creating behind the scenes, I thrive in environments that allow people to feel seen, inspired, and connected.
In addition, I’m a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and an aspiring wedding celebrant, a path that beautifully reflects my love for people, meaningful moments, and celebrating life’s milestones with intention and heart.
Everything I do is tied together by the same foundation: people, presence, and purpose. My goal has never been perfection, it’s always been authenticity, growth, and helping others feel confident in who they are.
Whether through workshops, events, digital projects, or future ventures still unfolding, I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to continue evolving both personally and professionally along the way.
